WE HAVE NOT BEEN PLEASED WITH THE LACK OF TRANSPARENCY FROM CURRENT SCHOOL ADMIN AND LEADERSHIP. THERE SEEMS TO BE A GREAT EFFORT TO KEEP INFORMATION FROM PARENTS AND DISCOURAGE FAMILIES FROM SHARING AND TALKING ABOUT THE CHANGE IN LEADERSHIP THAT TOOK PLACE ON JUNE 30, 2025.

ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW IS NOT SECRET OR NEW TO THE CURRENT SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION. REQUESTS HAVE BEEN SENT AND LEFT UNANSWERED AND THERE HAS BEEN NO ACCOUNTABILITY.

THERE IS ALSO AN OPEN LETTER TO DAVID BOLTE, AMANDA BEAVER AND THE PACIFIC SOUTHWEST DISTRICT – LUTHERAN CHURCH MISSOURI SYNOD DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILITY, TRANSPARENCY, AND AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE EVENTS THAT RESULTED IN THE DISMISSAL OF PRIOR ADMINISTRATION AND THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION.

    JUNE 30, 2025

WHERE IT ALL STARTED. BELOW IS THE LETTER SENT TO FAMILIES FROM DAVE BOLTE. DESPITE WHAT THE LETTER SAYS, AN EMAIL SENT DIRECTLY TO DAVE REQUESTING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WAS NOT ACKNOWLEDGED AND NO REPLY WAS RECEIVED.

    August 12, 2025

So many events have precipitated this and I feel like this is the best way to disseminate information to those of us parents who have concerns not only about what transpired, but also question if TLS is still the Lutheran school we knew, loved, and wanted for our family. We’re less than a full week into the school year and the answer to that very question is emphatically no for us. But we’re stuck for now. I find myself asking how we’re going to survive this year and shield our chil(ren) from this chaos and complete destruciton of the Christian environment we had.

When our family received this letter at the end of June , we wondered what happened. We weren’t alone as text messages and phone calls from other TLS families followed. As someone from corporate America, it’s obvious Mrs. Rohloff and Mrs. Chapman did not leave on their own accord. This saddened our family for several reasons. As with most of the staff at Trinity, we had a fantastic relationship with Mrs. Rohloff. She showed compassion for our children and was easily approachable. Greeted us every morning with a smile and hug. It’s obvious she loved Trinity and all of the familes and kids. The few times we had questions or issues, she was available to listen to us and discuss a solution. We didn’t have much interaction with Mrs. Chapman besides when we originally toured the school and went through the enrollment process. But the few times we did and during drop-off, she was always kind and a pleasure to deal with. I’ve since found out Mrs. Chapman has been there for 17 years. How in the world do you throw someone out after 17 years? Especially from a Christian Church & School?

It was obvious enrollement was up. Families were happy. Kids were happy. Staff was happy. So what went wrong?

We’ve been at Trinity for more than a few years (keeping it vague so to try and remain anonymous). Last year, we experienced the greatest growth at Trinity, even in the face of the tragedy that impacted the Rohloff family last summer. Our experience was witnessing tremendous faith displayed by a mother who had just lost her oldest child. It impacted the entire campus. It felt like the entirety of TLS grew closer and strengthened their faith in God. I know our family did. To witness Mrs. Rohloff show up every day for the kids and families at Trinity, to put her faith on display and to lead TLS was nothing short of amazing, especialy in the face of grief and loss. We felt the kids and families of TLS rally around her and each other. Exactly what we should do as Christians.

To our family, last year was the best year we had at Trinity. It felt more like home than ever before. Teachers were great! Academics were great! Faith was flowing! God was alive on that campus.

Then, it was all stripped away.

The admin we love was removed.

The school we love was dismantled.

Decisions were made by a “leader” and a board that spent no time on campus and doesn’t know any of the children or families.

    Make it make sense.

And all of this 2 weeks shy of the 1 year anniversary from the most tragic event a mother could ever experience?!?

    What the heck happened?

I can speak for our family and other families we’ve spoken share the same sentiment: No one was unhappy with the prior administration. So why the drastic change?

Here are all of the questions our family has?

    1. Why were they let go without talking to the families who pay to attend the school?
    2. Who made the decision? Was it David Bolte alone?
    3. Why won’t anyone, including David Bolte reply to any emails? His letter said to reach out with questions and when we have, no response was provided? Same goes for Amanda Beaver. Her lack of leadership makes me question this entire situation.
    4. How did someone on the board who made the decision to remove Mrs. Rohloff and Mrs. Chapman end up as Dean of Students (Mr. Gross)? Remove someone and then receive a job? We find it reprehensible and extremely questionable. How was this not planned and malicious?
    5. David Bolte has never been involved in the school. He knows no one on campus. Why does he have any say in the school administration? We’ve attended for years, including church semi-regularly. I’d bet my life he doesn’t know my first or last name, or that of my child(ren).
    6. Why weren’t families communicated with about all of the changes in administration and staff, including teachers? Was it to prevent us from leaving or making an informed decision with the facts?
    7. Why did we have to purchase school supplies this year? Why the short notice?
They were always included the last few years.
    8. Why is the Dean of Students also the Athletic Director?
    9. Why weren’t we told that Mr. Kaehne left the school? Why did he leave? Was it due to the administration choice?
    10. Why weren’t families told about new teachers and their classroom assignments until BTS (Back To School) night? Did we miss the emails? Or was this another blatant attempt to keep families uninformed by current admin?
    11. Why aren’t any teachers listed as accredited teachers on the AZ state website? Are they accredited? Please provide proof.
    12. What happened to the art class / art teacher (Hogan)? She was gone most of last year and parents weren’t informed.
    13. What about NJHS? Both teachers who were in charge aren’t there anymore.
    14. Why were changes made to the student handbook just a week before the start of school? Again no communication and transparency from current administration?
    15. School safety – Why is there a big section of fence missing?
    16. Who are the members of the school board? Why aren’t they parents who actually attend and have a financial and academic interest  in the school? Why is there no transparency?
    17. Why is there such a focus on dress code? There are much larger issues to address. We don’t need to measure skirts every day or get weekly classroom visits. Communicate with parents not the kids. COMMUNICATE! Seems to be a common issue.
    18. Chapel – What happened to the modern chapel format that engaged the kids? My child(ren) says chapel is boring. It used to be their favorite time.
    19. Teachers seem unhappy and unwilling to answer questions about the state of the school and current concerns? Just direct us to admin. Why? It wasn’t like this in the past. Teachers were open and communicative.
    20. Why can’t parents ask questions of current administration? There was supposed to be a meeting and admin cancelled it. Why?
    21. Will honors students receive course credit if the teachers aren’t accredited / certified? See question above about teaching credential concerns.
    22. If TLS can’t afford things as we’ve been told, how can it afford a dean of students?  Seems a bit ridiculous a school the size of TLS needs a dean. We never had one before. Or was just a promise / condition for voting to remove prior admin?
    23. Why can’t parents discuss issues and communicate in the parking lot amongst themselves? Preventing communication doesn’t foster a healthy, Christian environment.
Should we just take this off campus. What don’t they want us to tell each other?
    24. How much of the church expenses are covered by the school? Can we see the school and church budget? I have concerns about the integrity of the financial scope of both the church and school. Where does our tuition money go?
    25. How can I get on the board? I need an admin job.
    26. Does it violate any Lutheran church rules to have a husband and wife on the church payroll?
    27. How do we contact the school district about our concerns, both religious and academic? Who is in charge? Do they have to approve admin changes? Why or why not?
    28. How do we remove a pastor? Do we need a certain amount of parent votes / support?
What if he’s found to be dishonest?
    29. How do we voice concerns about the safety of our children and quality of their education without fear of retribution now? We can’t speak up at all or we’ll be asked to leave or forced out like the prior administration?

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

As a parent to a child in her class I am very disappointed she would abandon the kids before school ended. It is very selfish.

Mrs Krieger is one of the most resilient, strong women we have ever met. The only reason she’s been able to hold on this long is because she loves the kids and cares about the kids. What these teachers are put through is horrific. However, there gets a point where you can no longer stand for the wrong, where your mental health and over all health has to be prioritized. If you can’t see that, you are also a part of the problem.

You should be asking yourself how has Beaver let things get so bad that teachers can’t even stay for the remainder of the year?!?! First Miss Grace, now Krieger……..who’s next?!

Let me ask you … if your job was putting your mental health and physical health in jeopardy… would you have continued for 51 more days of school? I doubt it. Teachers have a tough job daily thinking of all the needs of every child in their class. All day, weekends, and every waking hour. If you add admin abuse it will put everyone healthy person over the edge. Those teachers are not sitting at a desk but interacting with their students. It is a tough job!! Be considerate of their mental health instead of judging them.

Shame on you!! Being selfish! Do you realize what she has been through?? You should stop talking because you have no idea what you are talking about! Mrs. Krieger is an amazing teacher!

I suggest you ask yourself why a dedicated teacher of many years would resign. Instead of looking at HER and calling her selfish, look at the administration and the toxic environment THEY have created. She is an absolutely amazing and loving teacher. Get a clue and stop drinking the Beaver/Bolte Kool-aid.

You don’t make it through 39 years of teaching being selfish. As a parent as well, I know this took a lot to get to this decision. Trinity lost an outstanding teacher because the administration and pastor are selfish.

I would like to personally thank whomever started this website for bringing this truth to light. What happened to the previous posts? Is there a way that they can be restored? As the Pacific Southwest District is looking into what is happening, they serve as a chronological record of things that have occurred.

EVERYTHING at Trinity cost you extra now.. cheerleading.. etc. If you are going to participate or attend this year’s auction, you are absolutely crazy! Praying for you and your family.

Confused…. As far as I know most
Schools charge a fee for sports, and or have boosters to raise the money for the fees needed to cover uniforms, tournaments, etc. why is this any different?

Those are public schools. This school has the highest tuition in the West valley and don’t pay for anything for the kids. It’s wild you can’t see that. Where is all the money going?? Not to the kids or families, we know that for sure. If you want to pay money into a crooked church, that is on you. Denial is a real thing.

They are even making everyone buy their own field day shirts this year! Our family will not be spending $18 a piece on those shirts. That’s crazy!

As a parent who has been with Trinity for several years, we have always had to pay for field day shirts. However I agree, $18 for a shirt to be worn once isn’t happening.

If you got the recent email about the golf carts breaking Trinity’s waterline, know that waterlines are buried anywhere from 18 inches to 5 feet below ground. Your golf carts didn’t break anything. Roxanne likes to lie about things to make rules. She’s been doing it forever. Ask anyone that works there. It’s a “unspoken” thing but everyone knows she has a lying problem. For some reason they can’t just say, Hey! We don’t want you to park there. The lying at this place is ridiculous.

As a parent why don’t you leave now? I would never leave my child somewhere I am so unhappy with. That’s the part I can’t wrap my head around if it’s so awful, why are you still there? You have literally spent your time discussing how awful it is publicly but you stay? If your answer is for your child, wait your child loves it? Also, Not a sheep? Then stand up for that you believe in and leave. Looks like a sheep to me hiding behind a keyboard and still attending a school you dislike so much.

You do realize every other private school in the west valley has a wait list. And for some families, withdrawal means paying the rest of the year’s tuition and or forfeiting ESA funds because once those are deposited, there’s no transfer option. Trinity does have a contract and it comes with a cost if you decide to transfer mid semester. I think a lot of families are waiting until the year is up to apply elsewhere. I have been so unhappy with this year’s changes, but leaving to go to a public school wasn’t an option. The school has gone downhill, but the teachers are still doing their job, and that is our only blessing. This is our family’s last year. We are done with the non Christian values this school has displayed. The dismissal of long time families and staff tells me they truly don’t care. Trinity is not a family anymore. Families and teachers were told to never step foot in that church by the pastor, can you believe that?! The pastor fired teachers and told them, they were not allowed to attend the church. Pastor is driving people away and he’s the reason why it is struggling. It’s obvious the church is in debt and the school’s main mission has become to recoup those funds. Trinity has the highest paying tuition, yet there are not providing more than the surrounding schools. This page was created to inform parents of the school’s issues. Families can comment on this page to express their frustration, it’s a safe place and common ground for unhappy families.

This exact scenario happened 20 years ago! Is it a 20 year itch? Admin was replaced, teachers fired, others left, parents banned. Crazy! I’m sorry you all are going through this. I met Mrs. Rohloff loved her and was so excited to send my grandbabies there- until I saw the script from the playbook being recycled!

If both parents work full time what do you expect them to do with their child? Tough time of the year to switch schools. The teachers will protect the children from the crap!! We have to hang in there until May! Then we are more than out of Trinity.

We have not left YET to support the teachers and due to the contract plus waiting lists. We absolutely will not be here next year, however. Teachers have already left or have plans to leave plus countless families. You don’t have this that type of plans for a mass exodus without serious concerns of misappropriation of funds, dishonesty and corruption. As someone said above, if you don’t believe all of the above is going on, you really have drunk the Kool-Aid.

Are there any families here who have received scholarships through Trinity using the tax donations?? I’m genuinely curious. All the families I’ve talked to haven’t received a dime from Trinity to help with tuition but have participated in the double donation days. Are there any of you out there that has actually received help from them? If not, what are they doing with all that money?

Families kicked out, teachers and admin let go – it was so hard to leave the school we loved because of some of the beloved teachers there. Looks like a 20 year itch. **When the Judge Has No Mirror: A Call to Save Our Church**

The church was never meant to be a courthouse.

It was meant to be a refuge — a gathering place for saints and sinners alike, which is to say, a gathering place for all of us. We come broken, we come doubting, we come carrying grief and failure and questions we are afraid to ask out loud. We come because the grace of God is offered freely, not because we have earned it, not because we deserve it, but because of His mercy alone. That is the foundation. That is the mission. That is what makes the church unlike anything else in the world.

When we lose that truth — when we replace grace with control, forgiveness with judgment, and dialogue with expulsion — we no longer have a church. We have an institution. And institutions without grace will always eventually fail the people they were meant to serve.

Ours is failing. And it is time to say so out loud.

**We Are All Saints and Sinners — That Is the Point**

Every person who has ever walked through those doors came as a sinner in need of grace. The pastor. The staff. The families in the pews. The member who asks hard questions. The employee who pushes back. Every single one of us. The church does not exist to gather the already-perfected. It exists because none of us are perfect and all of us need something bigger than ourselves.

When that truth is forgotten — when one person begins to operate as though they alone have the authority to determine who belongs and who doesn’t, who is faithful and who is doing the devil’s work — the entire foundation cracks. Not because we are being unkind to say so. But because it is simply true. No human being gets to be both shepherd and sovereign. That seat is already taken.

**A Pattern That Can No Longer Be Ignored**

This is not about a single misstep. This is not about one difficult decision or one bad day. What has unfolded here is a pattern — and any one of these things alone would warrant deep concern. Piled on top of each other, they tell a story the congregation deserves to hear clearly:

      – Staff have been fired and families expelled — people whose children were baptized here, whose vows were blessed here, whose loved ones were buried from this church — dismissed with no conversation, no appeal, no grace. Just “leave and don’t return.”

      – Raises have been taken by leadership while the rest of the staff received nothing. Family members have been placed on the payroll.

      – emails about parking and dogs — energy spent managing appearances while real people are hurting and real questions go unanswered.

      – The school principal was fired before the school year even began. More than twenty students left immediately. Many more families do not plan to return next year. A ministry built to serve children and families — potentially decimated.

      – The congregation itself is shrinking. One by one, quietly, people are walking away. Not because they stopped loving this place. Because they no longer feel safe in it.

      – Questions exist about the handling of tax credit funds — money entrusted to this institution by families and the state. Questions that deserve transparency, not deflection. A church with nothing to hide opens its books.

      – The board, which exists to provide oversight and accountability, has not functioned as an independent check. Governance without independence is not governance at all.

And over all of it, the deepest concern of all — **one person has appointed himself judge and jury over this entire community, while he himself remains completely unchecked.** Every person who raises a concern is wrong. Every employee who is let go deserved it. Every family shown the door should be grateful for the clarity. And yet the one making all of these judgments answers to no one.

That is not shepherding. That is not servant leadership. That is not the model Christ gave us.

      **When Church Becomes a Courthouse**

Scripture is clear about the kind of leader a shepherd is called to be. Not lord over the flock, but servant to it. Not one who drives the sheep away, but one who goes after the lost one. Not one who wields spiritual language as a weapon, but one who uses it to heal.

When a church begins to operate like a government institution — where the rules exist to protect the institution, where loyalty to leadership replaces loyalty to Christ, where forgiveness is conditional and belonging must be earned — it stops being a church in any meaningful sense. The form may remain. The building is still there. Services still happen. But the spirit that makes it a place worth gathering has been driven out the same door as the families who were told never to return.

We do not say this with bitterness. We say it with grief. Because this place has meant something real to real people for a long time. The faith formed here, the friendships built here, the sacraments celebrated and the sorrows carried here — that is not nothing. That is everything. And it is worth more than silence.

**Do Not Be the Next One to Quietly Walk Away**

This is the moment that determines what this church will be.

Every person who slips out the back without a word makes it easier for this to continue. Every family that quietly pulls their children from the school, every member who stops showing up without explanation, every employee who accepts their dismissal without appeal — each silent exit is counted as confirmation that everything is fine. That there is nothing to see here. That the shepherd is doing his job.

You are not alone in what you are feeling. The quiet in the pews is not agreement. There are people sitting in those seats every Sunday carrying the same doubts, the same grief, the same love for this place and the same fear about what it is becoming. They need to know you are there.

      So here is the call:

**Talk to each other.** Find the people you trust and have the honest conversation. You may be surprised how many feel exactly as you do.

**Document everything.** Dates, words, emails, decisions. A pattern witnessed and recorded by multiple people carries weight that cannot be easily dismissed.

**Put your concerns before the board in writing.** Even if you doubt their independence — make them respond. Create a record that cannot be erased.

**Contact the denomination.** Their authority is limited, but their awareness is not without consequence. Multiple voices reaching that level signals a community crisis, not a personal grievance.

**And if there are genuine questions about finances and tax credit funds — know that those questions have avenues beyond the church board entirely.**

Most of all — **stay.** Not passively. Not silently. But present, engaged, and unwilling to let this place become something it was never meant to be. The church belongs to the people who have given their lives to it, not to the person who currently holds the title.

Grace is still available here. It is available to the pastor, to the board, to every person who has been hurt and every person who has done the hurting. That is the nature of grace — it is not rationed, it is not earned, and it is not the property of one person to withhold from another.

But grace does not mean looking away. Sometimes the most loving thing a community can do is refuse to be silent.

This church is worth fighting for. The mission is worth fighting for. The families who were told to leave and never return — they are worth fighting for.

Let’s also not forget the immorality of two staff members who are openly having an affair and have yet to be reprimanded by the administration and pastor. Both have made a mockery of their vows and their spouses/young children. It is public knowledge that both are currently going through divorces (coincidentally at the same time). All this while they parade in public together at church on Sunday. Mr. Toth no longer attends Trinity regularly although he is a called worker. What kind of example does this set for our students and families?

Thank you for sharing such a well thought out message. I share this sentiment and am deeply saddened that our family will be leaving at the end of this school year. Your suggestions on how to navigate this mess are great. I know many from the school have been taking action. I hope this call to action reaches the congregation too and that the necessary changes can be made to preserve the church and school.

We fought this same fight “judge & jury” looking for our shepherd 20 years ago. Stepping away from this place and fighting for what was right was one of the hardest things I had done as a young parent of TLS and a church member. We asked questions, with no reply only to feel ostracized, we reached out to the Missouri Synod for refuge, somehow they sided with Bolte.

Please everyone, don’t bid on anything! Do not give this evil church any money! You know that’s where the money will go! Not to your kids! Let the Dee’s and the two other families waste their money on this place. You know the Dee’s will outbid everyone for what they want anyway. Let them get scammed.

This post is ridiculous! The auction flyers/ads stated there would be a silent auction and a live auctions. What was posted was the silent auction items. You could bid on the other items at the auction. As for your comment about the Dees family and the other two families, you have no idea what those families do for the teachers and students at Trinity. Many events and activities would not be happening if it wasn’t for the dedication, volunteer time and organizational strategies of these individuals. Furthermore the Dees family is one of the kindest and most giving families. They are overall amazing people and have donated to the school, classes, organizations and individuals for years and never ask for recognition or acknowledgment. I understand you are frustrated with the school but leave the families that volunteer and support the kids and staff out of these posts, they have nothing to do with the way the school is ran or the administration.

Trinity Lutheran School has been around since the 90s. It was never built around one family or one principal—and it won’t fall apart because of one change.
I know most people here are good people who are upset and truly mean well. But at this point, it’s been a year. This feels less about the kids and more about how the adults are handling the change. Continuing to stir up anger or pressure families to leave doesn’t help anyone—especially the kids.
I really hope this message can stay up, even if it’s not what everyone agrees with. Let’s be praying for the families still there and for the school’s continued success. It’s time to move forward.

Nobody has ever said it was built around one principal. The point was and is that the principal who made the school of success was fired under a cloud of lies. If you are happy to have your children be in the presence of people perpetuated those lie lies, that’s your choice. Don’t sweep everything under the rug because you’ve decided enough time has passed🙄

Hahaha!! Oh my goodness! Maybe YOU are okay being taken advantage of and lied to, but the rest of us aren’t! Feel free to keep your children here and have your money stolen! 😂 Every cult needs a following and you seem perfect for it!

It’s a bit confusing to follow the argument here. On one hand, you’re saying the school wasn’t built around one principal, but on the other, you’re crediting one principal as the reason for its success. Both can’t really be true at the same time.

Also, if you’ve already decided to leave—and believe many others are too—it raises a fair question: why continue putting so much energy into tearing down a school your family won’t even be part of? Most of us who are staying are focused on our kids, their teachers, and the community we still value.

Trinity Lutheran Church and School needs to be held accountable for the abuse they have inflicted on the families and children who have solely and one million percent trusted in the leadership of this place who pretends to be a religious institution trusting in Christ. You’re being led by a leadership team who has no care or concern for your children, your circumstances, or your heart. Truth is productive and is actionable. Action is power. Unlike you (I’m just guessing by you’re passion you’re safe from retaliation because a part of your body is attached to Bolte’s giving you a permanent prescription for pink eye) they didn’t have a option this year for a different school because Dick Bolte fired Astraea in June and all the private schools were full. It’s obvious you’re a true believer of the heretic or so called “pastor” Dick or Dave or douche bag Bolte (don’t know his legal name though I
I would guess the last one is on his birth certificate because he’s a coward). When Bolte fired Astraea he said complete transparency and feel free to reach out if you have any questions. None of that was true. These parents want a voice in the education that they are paying for and anytime a parent asked too many questions their kids were removed.

Why don’t you be brave and show people who you really are. Stop posting anonymously and have some “balls” and post your name.

This is honestly heartbreaking to read. Disagreements between adults should never result in children being excluded. Kids are not part of the conflict—they’re just friends who want to spend time together.
We should be teaching them inclusion, kindness, and grace—not using them to make a point.
The assumption that you know what’s best for every family is unfair. You don’t know what’s going on in someone else’s life or what their child needs. Choosing to stay is a personal decision, and it should be respected just as much as your decision to leave.

      From: Cody vinyard
      Sent: Wednesday, August 13, 2025 10:31 AM
      To: (beaver gross and bolte)
      Subject: RE: Addressing Ongoing Concerns

      All,

First, I’d like to say that I have absolutely zero concerns and am not worried at all about the abilities and competence of Dr. Beaver and Mr. Gross’s to lead the school forward. This is a nonissue for me and almost every parent that I have spoken with. This was going to be addressed in the cancelled meeting with Jon Leatherwood and myself, not the firing of the Mrs. Rohloff (we may disagree, but understand you have every right to fire her. As stated above, not concerned).

The issue is the direction of the school and the changes that are occurring (even though you are claiming no changes will be happening). The lack of response, shaming, and platitudes I’ve seen in many different emails (many different parents) is alarming. Not one response has even come close to addressing any concerns.

Leadership keeps saying nothing will change, but Pastor Bolte is now more involved (that’s a change). We’ve been going since 2019 and have attended the children’s church events for years. I have never seen Pastor Bolte speak to any parents that just go to the school. I usually see him speaking to people that are regulars of the church. I don’t know any parent that does not go to the church that has any semblance of a relationship with Pastor Bolte. He has never been involved in the day-to-day activities, but now he is.

Don’t take this the wrong way, Pastor Bolte, but I don’t know you from Adam and all I’ve seen since you have started playing a bigger part is more secrets and division. I don’t know if Dr. Beaver and Mr. Gross are getting direction from you to act and say what they have been saying, but I would believe that is the case, as our interactions with Dr. Beaver have always been wonderful. When one of my employees does something wrong, at the end of the day I’m the one taking the blame from the city because I am responsible for the atmosphere and ethics in my company. If you are the Head of the entire church and school, then all this behavior by your subordinates falls on your shoulders.
Hebrews 13:7- “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.”
Proverbs 11:14- “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.”

You are all missing the point as to why people are upset. Try seeing it from a parent’s perspective. A week before we left for vacation, my wife was at an event for Helping One Woman. Mrs. Rohloff was there and talking about the upcoming school year and was very excited. We left for vacation and a couple of weeks later on June 30, 2025 (still out of town), we get an email informing us of the change in leadership. We were taken aback as I’m sure many were, but we were assured that nothing would change and had faith in the school. At this time, we did not even think of moving our kids out of Trinity. Then childcare was canceled, there was a new handbook, and for the first time since we’ve attended the school, we had to buy school supplies. This is where the lack of communication and open, honest dialog from Pastor Bolte began to sow distrust among the parents and myself. This is where I began to look back and think of the timing of the firing of Mrs. Rohloff. The end of June does not give the parents any time to find a good school with a Christ-centered focus, but earlier notice might have afforded parents time to find another school and the tuition lost could have been huge for the school. This then led me to think about buying our own kids supplies, which lead me to believe money and being in the RED were playing a larger part (again zero communication explaining changes or direction). On the first day of school, Paster Bolte led the chapel (which is his right). The message was Proverbs 9:10 – “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” I don’t think this message is for children who are just beginning their journey as Christians. Children hear the word “fear of the Lord” and will associate it with fearing someone or something. Also, the music changed. The essence of the joy for the Lord was missing. One of my daughter’s favorite parts of chapel was singing the songs and worshiping through song. This lack of modern worship songs (which these children know and love) combined with a message of “fearing the Lord” made the impression of a sad and depressing atmosphere for the children. This same sentiment was felt by my children and other children and parents as well.

I can speak from my personal experience on being a child in church that was sad and depressing. Boring, depressing church services pulled me away from my faith and I don’t want to see that happen to my children or anyone’s children for that matter. As I’ve gotten older (I wish I made this realization sooner) I realized how wonderful the relationship with Christ is. It gives me a level of trust and invincibility that regardless of what storm is going on/in or around me, I have an anchor in Christ, that nothing will move, and always keep me grounded. Kids don’t need the entire MEAT of the word because they will misinterpret much of the Bible, as explaining some biblical concepts are tough for children to thoroughly digest. Things need to be simplified for them. Have you ever read a children’s Bible to your children? It misses some depth that’s in the Bible but gets the message across. I’m sure the 7th and 8th graders can handle the message, but most of the school will struggle with such deep concepts.

Now to the equally concerning new problems that have come to light in these recent emails and interactions. The absolute hypocrisy and gas-lighting going on in these is emails is appalling. Blaming the parents when all of this started because of the lack of communication and a plan from Pastor Bolte. This entire situation could’ve been avoided if the pastor was more open about what changes were happening and why. For clarification, I am not asking for Bolte to respond to firing Mrs. Rohloff and the details, but a simple, “we are struggling here or shifting direction and Mrs. Rohloff was not the person to lead us and here’s why…” Then going into the new changes and the reason behind them. If it’s financially related or something else, we would have accepted it, and most would have understood and been behind the direction. Now the seeds of distrust have grown because of the secrets and shaming parents from the Leadership team, the church elder board, and Bolte. All you have done is light the fire, throw gasoline on the fire, and blame the parents for the fire.

Mr. Gross, last year when Claire and Paislee went from friends to frenemies (out of nowhere), we didn’t throw out the relationship and encourage the girls to continue being mad or stop being friends. We told her to show kindness and grace (within herself and towards the situation). What happened??? Well tempers went down, our girls worked through the situation, and the issue became a nonissue. I hope our daughters can be a better example of forgiveness and grace then I have seen through this entire situation.
Luke 6:37 – “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.”

We pay tuition and correct me if I’m wrong, but that pays the salary for every person working in the school, including Pastor Bolte. You would think this fact alone would give the parents a bit more access to information. We care about the success of Trinity and will do what we can to help where we can. At my company, we share all our project information with all my employees so they understand where we are performing well and where we can improve; they know where we sit every month. For example, when you installed the camera and access control system. I was the one that made it possible for the office to buzz people in after the fact. You got stuck into a system that requires heavy monthly fees, when we could have used a system that has similar upfront cost with no monthly fees and it’s a system you could have used for years with little maintenance. Again, if I would have known I could have helped but we are in the dark about everything. I (other parents have asked) would love to see your budget and expenditures. I and other parents that own businesses could maybe help with other ideas or ways to tighten and save if money is driving this change or a problem at all.

This missing fence is a major issue. I just found out about this two days ago. Our children should not have a temporary fence that any criminal can get through. This again goes to my point above. I own a construction company, and I know another parent that does as well and I’m sure someone else might. We could have stepped in to help or even fixed the issue, but again no communication from Bolte.

A board with parents on it would be preferred, but even a monthly letter indicating changes coming up would be better than nothing.

We have a long history with Trinity. Jessica and I are quite active in the school and are always there for fundraising or any event that helps the school. I think you are severely underestimating the number of parents/tuition looking to leave the school next year if we don’t get some accountability and transparency. Quick math says close to 30 tuition fees (+$ 300,000) and that’s just our small group of parents. I imagine the parents of other age/friend groups are having the same issues and thoughts and that number could double or triple. This is not just isolated to 4th graders and under.

Luke 6:41-42: “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

I can speak for many parents when I say none of us want to switch schools. The sense of family we have here is amazing. We truly love and appreciate the school and I feel the trust can be mended.

I would like to ask for a town hall meeting for all the parents to be able to hear and speak to the leadership, anything less than an in-person meeting will not be acceptable. We have moved past nice letters due to your lack of transparency and gas lighting. I hope we can get a meaningful response and begin to heal.

6:30PM we were told our kids were kick out.

        All Again,

I still have not received a response from my email below. I took the time to try and give you an honest perspective from parents. I know not one of you are seeing it from our perspective, especially Mr. Bolte, considering in the entire time we have been going to Trinity we have had zero interaction with him. I believe his views for the school are misguided and are blinded by something, though I’m not sure what. I would like to think that our loyalty to this school, along with the tens of thousands of dollars we’ve paid over the years, would illicit a response from leadership. We really want to feel comfortable re-enrolling our children into Trinity next year and the subsequent years.

Please, reach across the aisle so we can find common ground and a way to move forward for the well-being of our students and school community.

WOW!! I mean Cody, I have always been on your side and kept in contact with your family, this just solidified it! I just have to say, even though this family has been completely screwed, they never spoke bad about Trinity to people outside of this! I would have! They have a lot more class than me! I just can’t wrap my head around people supporting this school, church and administration. I’m sorry. If you stay at Trinity, I want NOTHING to do with you! That’s families, kids and teachers! You know better. If you stay, you are sticking your head in the sand. Just to get through it. As a Christian , I refuse to “stick it out”. I will not subject my family to this place any longer!

Let me start by saying I pray that nobody would ever intentionally leave a child out just because they don’t agree with something a parent said or did. I truly hope no child ever has to feel excluded because of adult disagreements, because what goes around comes around.
Another thing I want to say is that instead of getting angry at families who are staying at Trinity, maybe pray for them. Not everybody has the luxury of working from home or being a stay-at-home parent. And while being a stay-at-home parent is absolutely one of the hardest jobs out there, it still isn’t an option for every family.
So what’s the alternative? Sending kids to overcrowded schools where there are 38 students in a classroom? A place where even things like the talent show become competitive and stressful? Life is not always black and white, and every family is doing the best they can with the circumstances they have.
What’s most disappointing is this mindset of “if you don’t do things my way, then I’m going to judge you, talk badly about you, or treat your family differently.” That kind of behavior helps no one. We should be better than this. We should be showing grace, understanding, and compassion — especially when children are involved.

Most families are switching to West Valley Christian. It’s quite a bit cheaper, they cap their classes at 20, they offer a fuller range of electives such as music, art, library, Spanish, pe, and technology, they offer many after school clubs, do trips like jr high Washington DC, and have a new principle that the students and parents love. He goes out and plays football with the kids during recess and the mood on campus is so upbeat. It’s not wrong to stay but there are more options than just homeschool or public.

Chiming in to say – I have 3 friends who have been at West Valley Christian for years. Two of them have left already, the third is leaving at the end of this year.

Lots of not so great stuff has happened there in the past few years as well. And while I can’t speak to their specific programs, I do know the academic success of their students is severely lacking. Look up their national test scores…it’s not great. (Comparatively, this year my daughter’s class at TLS ranked ABOVE national averages on the MAP testing!)

No school is perfect – and every school has its ups and downs, leadership comes and goes. It’s the nature of education as a whole unfortunately.

This is our first year with TLS. It has been amazing, despite what many of you have experienced. My kids have absolutely loved it and found all the teachers to be kind, supportive leaders.

Will definitely be praying for our friends who are leaving – as well as the future of the school and the mission is (still hopefully) stands for.

The teachers aren’t the problem at Trinity. The pastor, his wife, the principal and Dean of Students are the problem. I understand if you weren’t there last year and you don’t know what kind of place it was, but the teachers absolutely made it through for their students and families this year. However, it will be a different story next year.

Don’t forget you already had amazing teachers like Koehne, Grace and Krieger already leave because of the lies and deception of this current administration.

Several teachers are not returning by choice and a some aren’t returning because their positions were no longer needed. A total of 6 will be gone as of now.

Its truly sad to see what is happening at Trinity, but I am not surprised. I will be very surprised if this school survives another 3 years. The decline is happening fast and everything they’ve tried to do to “make it better” has failed. I don’t blame the teachers, nor the new admins. This all falls on Pastor and the principal. Those who still continue to support them will realize sooner than later that the students’ well being was never a priority. Pastor is trying to use the school to save the church but all the decisions have done more damage. Several families are leaving and more will leave once they discover who is not coming back.

      A blessed parent

To those leaving, I wish you luck. I hope you find a situation that fits your family. As for me, Trinity is a great school. I truly do not understand why everyone keeps saying things are bad. Why are things so bad? Because the school had a change in leadership in which you were not given specific confidential details about the employee’s performance? Go to any business, this is standard. If you were the employee being let go you wouldn’t want your private information shared, especially if it did not paint you in a good light. The school acted very honorable in being as transparent as possible by also respecting the dignity of others. Just because you pay tuition does not now make you the owner. That’s like going into a store, making a purchase and then demanding the business tell you the ends and out of everything of the business. Completely wrong.

Or is it because you don’t like traditional worship. Is this really so bad that you are this upset?

Was the school supplies really that big of a deal? Like every other school doesn’t require this? This really have you upset?

Or is it because a parent was asked to leave after becoming over the top aggressive harassing administration demanding information they are not entitled to while attempting a coup in the parking lots?

Or maybe it’s the, hey please don’t drive gold carts through the landscapes? Please leave your dogs at home and not bring them to the school.

These are the reasons I have read on this blog that people are upset about. Man if true, I am truly blessed that this is the only “bad things” going on at my kids school. What an absolute blessing.

There are so many baseless claims being put out on this form to include making claims about money being taken for the church, etc. You have zero evidence to support these claims. Just throwing out wild conspiracy theories that to me, are slander.

Then, to attack the principal, a woman who took a job clearly on short notice and executed at a amazing level. She treated everyone with dignity and respect. She has proven to be a good leader and most importantly, a follower of Jesus. The fruit of her works are clear. Then I see people taking it out on her kids all because she took a job? That’s just flat out disgusting. If you’re unhappy then I’m glad you’re making decisions to change that. However, trying to bash and tear down a school that continues to serve so many kids is just wrong. By doing so you are not just attacking the school, you’re attacking our children that attend so just please stop. How would you like it if the school you choose to move your kids to and love people come in and attack it trying to destroy it? So you don’t like the pastor, ok. You have the freedom to leave. That is not a good reason to try and destroy relationships for everyone else spreading claims that you have zero evidence to support. The dean, what did he do to anyone? You just don’t like him because he took a job? Ok wow, great reason to show this level of disrespect.

All in all it was another great year. My kids were loved and received a high quality education. Thanks to Trinity they did not have to go to public school where all kinds of inappropriate things are taught to children. I am thankful for Trinity and the staff, present and future. I’m excited for next year. A year where hopefully all of this negativity is over. Good luck to everyone. Have a safe summer. To those coming back can’t wait to see you all again as our kids learn and grow. To those leaving, good luck. I hope you don’t become this toxic if you don’t get your way and try and hurt another school. As for Trinity, it is in the Lord’s hands. I’m confident He will continue to bless this school.

You either live under a rock or are a part of the regime. This post is more gaslighting and blame-shifting. Did you ever attend chapel last year? If you saw how much the kids enjoyed the modern chapel, this traditional chapel doesn’t hold a candle to it. The students were so full of joy, worshiping the Lord. There’s actual proof that school supplies were purchased and returned last year. Now why would that be? Does that make any sense to you? What would the point of that be if not financial reasons?

I’m sure Bolte made something up about why Rohloff and Chapman were let go. Thanks to him having no checks and balances, he could’ve made up anything. Who was on the committee that decided to let them go? Who do you think that board answers to?

Have you even met Rohloff and Chapman? Had a conversation with them? Do you know how transparent Rohloff was when it came to dealing with parents? New admin avoided parents like the plague. They had patsies run interference while they hid in their offices.

If you can’t see through the BS they are feeding you, I guess you fit right in. What person, much less a pastor, bans a 20 year congregant from attending church? Have you ever questioned why Bolte has done all of this in the dark? Proverbs 4:19- “The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.” There is a darkness creeping in. Condemning parents that stand up for being silenced? If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. Seems like they’ve brainwashed you into another unquestioning sheep.

Here’s the thing. The teachers have done what they always do. Served their calling. Showing up everyday to pour into each student. These same teachers will not be there next year. Why? Because of the leader the Pastor who is scared and making decisions from a place of desperation and disregard for his own calling to shepherd. A shepherd doesn’t arbitrarily tell his flock to leave and never comeback.Until he is gone Trinity will continue to decline. You make like it now. But wait till you get in Bolte’s cross hairs. You may not have experienced it yet. But when you do…

Let’s keep twisting the story to make it seem like admin did nothing wrong! Jokes on them and whoever believes them. I’ve seen admin hide from parents and sneak away to avoid people! “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”
        — Philippians 2:3

        For your spiritual superiority:
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
        — James 4:6

        For your convenience:
“Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
        — Philippians 2:4

Maybe you can then get yourself a paid, unnecessary position like Gross did! Sounds like you just need to get yourself on the board and fire someone and you get yourself a job. These people are all perfect for you – all narcissists, like you!

Let’s not forgot the two HSP teachers having an affair who have both been let go. Mr. Toth & Mrs. Laney teaching our children faith while breaking the Ten Commandments.

Bolte and Beaver obviously did not care too much about the affair. They waited until the end of the to let them go. Was only a convenient sin for when their enrollment tanked for next year.

Mr. Toth did end up quitting, most likely because he was upset they let his girlfriend go. Oh sorry, they’re just “really good friends”. At least that is what they told admin when they both got called into the office. Now that both are divorced, we shall see what becomes of their budding romance.

Based on the information being shared here, Koehne, Grace, Krieger, Gurnsey, Woodward, Sielaff, and Toth resigned voluntarily, while Measel, Schaus, Laney, and one additional teacher were dismissed.

For a school of this size, that represents a substantial amount of turnover within a single academic year. It raises understandable questions about staffing plans moving forward, particularly alongside the addition of a K–12 hybrid program. Perhaps enrollment projections reduce the need for the same number of faculty positions, but from an outside perspective, it appears to be a significant amount of institutional change occurring in a very short period of time.

Administrative transitions often involve challenges and adjustments, especially when changes occur unexpectedly. However, combining a major program expansion with the departure of a large portion of the K–8 staff seems like a considerable undertaking regardless of one’s perspective on the situation.

Or Hunger Games Style. For the staff remaining, may the odds be ever in your favor.

Party of 2 and we are out of the terrible things going on at Trinity. Time for the kids to have a wonderful summer and even better school year! Good-bye major dysfunctional school. Teachers you did such a great job masking the dysfunction thank you! Our kids will not be damaged but able to move on. Admin it will take us years to heal from all that you have done to so many people.

Agree. The teachers are absolutely amazing and so thankful for them. The administration, however, is delusional about the lies and deception which they perpetuated and the chaos they have created. I keep hearing about families who signed up during re-enrollment and are not coming back, but haven’t told the school yet. Their “online school“ will be a total failure too. Look forward to hearing about everybody’s success at their new schools!
